2. TERMINOLOGY
TERM MEANING
Ticket Champ means Ticket Champ (Pty) Ltd 2021/983871/07, with its registered address at The Stables Office Park, 3 Ateljee Street, Randpark Ridge Gauteng, South Africa.Ticket Champ Information Officer means the person appointed as such by Ticket Champ from time to time to fulfil the functions set out in the POPI Act. Data Protection Laws means laws in the applicable country which relate to the protection of Personal Information, including the POPI Act and the General Data Protection regulation in the European Union. Personal Information means Personal Information as defined in the POPI Act. POPI Act means the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 

3. INTRODUCTION
3.1 Ticket Champ respects and acknowledges the importance of protecting your Personal Information.
3.2 This Privacy Notice sets out how we will process your Personal Information in the ordinary course of conducting our business and applies to Ticket Champ’s websites.
3.3 This Privacy Notice also sets out your rights in relation to your information and who you can contact for more information or queries.


4. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
4.1 When you interact with us, we may collect Personal Information from you. You can choose not to provide Personal Information when requested. However, without your requested Personal Information, we may not be able to provide or continue to provide you with the products or services offered by Ticket Champ or allow you full access to our websites.
4.2 We will only collect the minimum Personal Information that we deem necessary to process for ordinary business purposes. Personal Information we collect from you may include:
4.2.1 Personal identifiers, such as name and address;
4.2.2 Device and online identifiers and related information, such as telephone numbers and email address;
4.2.3 Internet, application, and network activity, such as cookie IDs and browser visits;
4.2.4 Government identifiers, such as CIPC registration numbers, national identification numbers and driver’s license numbers;
4.2.5 Demographic information, such as age, gender and date of birth;
4.2.6 Individual preferences and characteristics, such as inferences related to consumer patterns and consumer habits.
4.2.7 Location information, such as geo-location information;
4.2.8 Audio, visual, and other sensory information, such as still pictures, audio and video recordings;
4.2.9 Employment information, such as occupation, title, licenses and professional memberships; or
4.3 It is not standard practice for us to collect sensitive Personal Information about you, such as information relating to your health, religion, political beliefs, race or sexual orientation, except with your express consent or unless we are required to do so by law.
4.4 If we link other data with your Personal Information as provided to us, we will treat that linked data as Personal Information.
4.5 Our websites may collect standard internet log information, including your IP address, browser type and language, access times and referring website addresses.


5. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may collect your Personal Information in a variety of ways when you interact with us, including when:
5.1 as a result of communications between you and our representatives;
5.2 we conduct our administrative and business functions;
5.3 you register for any of our events, promotions or other events;
5.4 you subscribe to our mailing lists and newsletters;
5.5 we market our solutions and services to you;
5.6 you access and use our websites; and
5.7 you apply for employment with us. We may also collect your Personal Information from third party sources and third parties including public databases, business partners with whom we offer co-branded services or engage in joint marketing activities, and third parties that provide list enhancement or similar services, to the extent that this is permitted by applicable law.

6.1 We collect and use Personal Information to:
6.1.1 create or maintain your account;
6.1.2 send communications to you;
6.1.3 establish, manage, and maintain our business relationships;
6.1.4 respond to inquiries and requests;
6.1.5 inform you about prospective opportunities
6.1.6 provide you with a more personalised experience when you interact with us;
6.1.7 conduct administrative and business functions;
6.1.8 update our records and keep contact details up to date;
6.1.9 enable you effectively to use and to improve our websites;
6.1.10 compile website usage statistics;
6.1.11 enable you to subscribe to newsletters and mailing lists;
6.1.12 enable you to register for Ticket Champ events, workshops and seminars;
6.1.13 process and respond to privacy questions, concerns and complaints; and
6.1.14 fulfil legal and contractual obligations.
6.2 Personal Information may also be used based on the legitimate interests pursued by Ticket Champ or its affiliates, except where such interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms which require protection of Personal Information.

7. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
7.1 We rely on the following legal grounds in order to process your Personal Information:-
7.1.1 we have a legitimate interest in building and managing our relationship with you;
7.1.2 the information is required in order to provide you with the services that you have indicated you are interested in receiving from us; or
7.1.3 we are subject to legal or regulatory obligations, such as providing information to a public body or law enforcement agency.
7.2 To the extent that we process any sensitive Personal Information relating to you for any of the purposes outlined above, we will do so because either:
7.2.1 you have given us your explicit consent to process the information;
7.2.2 the processing is necessary to carry out our obligations under applicable laws;
7.2.3 the processing is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or
7.2.4 you have made the information manifestly public.
7.3 You are responsible for informing Ticket Champ if any of your Personal Information changes.

8. TRANSFERS TO THIRD PARTIES
8.1 All of the categories of Personal Information that we collect may be shared with other companies, including those within our corporate family, for a legitimate business purpose.
8.2 We will not sell or rent your Personal Information for money.
8.3 We may share your Personal Information with other companies to offer you and administer your use of co-branded products, in the event all or a part of our business is merged, sold or reorganized, when legally required, as described below, or with your consent.
8.3.1 Service Providers: We share Personal Information about you with service providers that assist us with our business activities, including, billing and refund vendors, payment card processors, marketing and advertising vendors, and companies that help us improve our products and services. We require our service providers to keep your Personal Information secure. We do not allow our service providers to use or share your Personal Information for any purpose other than providing services on our behalf. Your Personal Information may be stored and processed by our service providers in locations where the service providers maintains facilities.
8.3.2 Co-Branded Products and Services: We may share your Personal Information with companies that offer cobranded products or services. These companies are prohibited from using your Personal Information for purposes other than offering you, and administering your use of, these co-branded products and services.
8.3.3 Legal Requirements and Protection of Our Company and Others: We may share your Personal Information in other special circumstances, which include situations when sharing is required by law, or we believe sharing will help to protect the safety, property, or rights of our customers, our associates, or other persons.
8.3.4 Business Transfers: In the event that all or a part of our business is merged, sold or reorganized (including transfers made as a part of insolvency or bankruptcy proceedings), Personal Information about you could be shared with the successor business. We will use reasonable measures to help ensure that any successor treats your information in accordance with this Policy.
8.3.5 Advertising Related Activities:
8.3.5.1 We use data collection devices such as "cookies" on certain pages of the Website to help analyse our web page flow, measure promotional effectiveness, and promote trust and safety. Cookies assist us in providing our services. You are always free to decline our cookies if your browser permits, although in that case you may not be able to use certain features on the Website and you may be required to re-enter your password more frequently during a session. The cookies do not contain any of your personally identifiable information.
8.3.5.2 We may share aggregated or pseudonymous information (pseudonymous information includes things like: device identifier, type of device, IP addresses, cookies and other information associated with your browsing and app usage) with other companies, such as publishers, advertisers, measurement analytics providers, and others. We do not share information that directly identifies you (information such as name or email address) with these companies.
8.3.5.3 We also allow companies that advertise on our webpages or our apps to collect information from your browsers or devices via the use of cookies or other technologies. Where these companies process your information via their own cookies and other data collection technologies, this collection is subject to their own Privacy Policies.
8.3.5.4 Our Website also links to other websites that may collect personally identifiable information about you. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those linked websites.
8.3.6 With your consent
8.3.6.1 By using our websites, mobile applications, Wi-Fi and/ or by providing your information to us, you expressly consent to our collection and use of the information you disclose to us in accordance with this Privacy Notice, including but not limited to your consent for us to share your information as set out in this Privacy Notice. If you disclose any Personal Information relating to other people to us, you warrant that you have the authority to do so and to permit us to use the information in accordance with this policy.
8.3.6.2 Ticket Champ may share your information other than as described in this Privacy Notice. In that instance we will notify you and obtain your consent to such sharing. In circumstances where you give us your consent for a specific purpose, you are entitled to withdraw that consent at any time. In the event that you withdraw your consent, this will not affect any processing of your Personal Information that took place prior to such withdrawal and it will not affect the processing of your Personal Information where there are other lawful grounds for processing your Personal Information.
8.4 When using the services of any service providers and business partners Ticket Champ will ensure, contractually (hereinafter referred to as “Data Processing Agreements”), that the third party will employ suitable technical and organisational measures to protect your Personal Information, as required by applicable law.

9. RETENTION
9.1 We retain your Personal Information for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect our assets, or enforce agreements. Depending on the purpose, retention periods will vary.
9.2 The criteria we use to determine retention periods include whether:
9.2.1 we are under a legal, contractual or other obligation to retain Personal Information including pursuant to data retention laws, as part of an investigation or for litigation purposes;
9.2.2 Personal Information is needed to provide our solutions and services business including performance improvement and to maintain accurate business and financial records;
9.2.3 there are automated means to enable you to access and delete your Personal Information at any time. We will generally retain Personal Information for a shorter period of time, where this is not the case; and
9.2.4 the Personal Information is sensitive Personal Information in which event we will generally retain this for a shorter period of time
9.2.5 you have consented to us retaining your Personal Information for a longer retention period, in which case, we will retain Personal Information in line with your consent.

10. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Ticket Champ is committed to protecting your Personal Information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure by using a combination of physical, administrative and technical safeguards and by contractually requiring that third parties to whom we disclose your Personal Information do the same. Whilst Ticket Champ makes every effort to secure its Apps and websites, you should note that the internet is not completely secure; thus when you submit or post Personal Information online, you should be aware that Ticket Champ cannot guarantee the security of any Personal Information that you submit or post online.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE
Ticket Champ may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Any updates of this Notice will be communicated to you and will be posted on the Ticket Champ website www.ticketchamp.win, together with an updated revision date. Unless otherwise stated, any new Privacy Notice will supersede the previous Notice.

12. YOUR RIGHTS
12.1 You have the right to receive information from Ticket Champ regarding Ticket Champ's treatment of your Personal Information.
12.2 You have the right to request rectification and/or erasure of your Personal Information or restriction of processing concerning you, or to object to the processing of your Personal Information, as well as the right to data portability.

12.4 If you have any complaint about the manner in which Ticket Champ handles your Personal Information you may lodge a complaint with the South African Information Regulator (inforeg@justice.gov.za).
